This epic food festival is definitely giving Toronto something to taco ’bout. Taco Fest by TasteToronto is returning to Ontario Place this June for a mouthwatering celebration of this beloved Mexican dish.

The three-day fiesta will feature over 100 varieties of tacos from Toronto’s top restaurants and chefs, so you better come hungry!

“From traditional, soft shell tacos to experimental Pad Thai tacos, this year’s vendors are offering the best,” the description says.

You’ll get to chomp on delicious Impossible chorizo tacos, birria tacos with consomĂ© from Birria Catrina, and tacos al pastor from Gus Tacos, one of Toronto’s most popular tacos spots.

To spice things up even more, Taco Fest will have tequila and specialty cocktails to pair your tacos with, as well as mariachi bands and salsa dancing to entertain you in between bites.

However, it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer for the full list of vendors and activations to be announced.

This event is one of many new and returning cultural festivals in the city this spring and summer, including Filipino Street Festival, Taste of the Danforth, Taste of Little Italy, Salsa on St. Clair, Jamaican Patty Festival, Ethnic Outdoor Food & Wine Fest, and countless food festivals.

And it looks like it will be a busy summer at Ontario Place, with the Electric Island concert series and Toronto’s first edition of Rolling Loud Festival taking over the grounds in the coming months.

Phew, that’s a lot to put on our calendars! But, after the quiet summers we’ve experienced over the past two years, it’s definitely not a bad problem to have.
