Toronto’s Summerlicious restaurant festival is back & here’s what to know

One of Toronto’s most popular foodie events is about to return! The Summerlicious restaurant festival will be returning this August, offering Torontonians a way to celebrate the city’s diverse culinary scene with set menus and price points.

Summerlicious is returning this summer from August 12 to 28 and the City has released a list of this year’s participating restaurants.

According to the City, this year’s Summerlicious is all about supporting the “recovery and revival of Toronto’s restaurant scene” by making it easier for restaurants to participate and offer their “enticing experiences and delectable food” to the public.

Diners can begin to make reservations for Summerlicious starting on July 28, and given how popular this event is every summer, you may want to start booking as early as possible.

The fixed-price lunch menus range from $20 to $55, and dinner menu prices range from $25 to $75, depending on the restaurant and its offerings.

The restaurants offering $20 lunch and $25 dinner include Yunshang Rice Noodle, Detroit Pizzeria, Bar Bacan, Crystal Thani, The Chef’s House, and more.

Some restaurants don’t offer lunch menus on weekends, so be sure to check in with your restaurant of choice to confirm what’s available.

You can explore all of the restaurants participating in Summerlicious on this interactive map to locate the ones nearest you.

You can filter your results based on the neighbourhood, cuisine, and menu prices. There are also options to search for vegetarian, vegan, and locally-sourced cuisine, as well as accessible restaurants.

Additional info about Summerlicious can be found on the City of Toronto’s website.

Bon appetit, friends!
