Turn up the heat! Starbucks Canada adds new spicy drinks to its menu

Is the weather not hot enough in Canada for you? No worries, Starbucks is bringing the heat with its newest drink creations coming to a location near you, starting this week. Get ready to taste the heat with the new limited-time-only Spicy Lemonade Refreshers. You read that right.

Are you ready to feel the heat?

Looks like summer is coming early because starting April 16th, Starbucks is combining the sweetness of a Starbucks Refreshers drink, the tartness of lemonade and the heat of its new Spicy Chili Powder Blend, to create its latest menu items that are sure to warm you up.

The new Starbucks drinks include:

  • Spicy Strawberry – Strawberry and acai shaken with ice, real strawberry pieces, lemonade and Starbucks Spicy Chili Powder Blend.
  • Spicy Dragonfruit  – Mango and exotic dragonfruit shaken with ice, real dragonfruit pieces, lemonade and Starbucks Spicy Chili Powder Blend.
  • Spicy Pineapple – Pineapple and passionfruit shaken with ice, real pineapple pieces, lemonade and Starbucks Spicy Chili Powder Blend.

This idea was inspired by the “swicy” trend, a blend of sweet and spicy creations, according to the chain. The three new Spicy Lemonade Refreshers beverages will be available in Starbucks stores in Canada only for a limited time.

BUT that’s not all!

Spice up your coffee with the new Spicy Cream Cold Foam! Yup, it’s real. It’s a combination of the new Spicy Chili Powder Blend with Starbucks classic, silky cream cold foam.

Now that’s a combination we need to try.

Head to your nearest location this Tuesday and try the new Starbucks drinks for yourself. And don’t forget, it’s only available for a limited time so get yours ASAP.
