The beloved St. Lawrence Market in Toronto is expanding its hours for a one-year pilot project starting this long weekend.

According to the City of Toronto, the pilot project, which starts on Sunday, July 31, was a result of a review of the famous Market’s hours of operations and how to improve the Market to better serve residents and visitors.

As of July 31, the new hours will be: Tuesdays through Fridays, 9 am to 7 pm, Saturdays from 7 am to 5 pm, and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm. The Market will be closed on Mondays.

For those who visit frequently, you’ll note the changes include having the Market open on Sundays, and later morning opening times and later evening closing times on weekdays.
