If you’ve lived in Seattle for a while and frequent Green Lake, chances are that you know about or at the very least have seen SPUD Fish & Chips.
The business which started in 1940 once occupied a very iconic mid-century building that sadly met the fate of our city’s development. The good news is that SPUDS is back to delight our taste buds again.
Not much has changed at SPUDS other than its new look. While not exactly the same vibe and much more modern, the food is just as good and is as perfectly fried as before.
You’ll find classic menu items like cod & chips, a fish sandwich, calamari, and more.

You have the option of going in and checking it out for yourself or you can order online.
Of course, because this is a new chapter for SPUD we recommend getting out of the house and stopping by in person. After all, you can take your fish & chips across the street to the park or stay in and enjoy them if that’s more your speed.
With that, enjoy and we’re very happy to see the return of such a beloved local business.
