Happy Monday Seattle! Need some good news to ward off the blues of a new week? You’re in luck because our very own celebrity chef Melissa Miranda has a new restaurant called Kilig on the way and here’s what to know.

If you consider yourself a Seattle foodie, you likely need no introduction to Miranda. She’s the owner and chef of beloved Seattle restaurant Musang and also one of the best new chefs in America, according to Food & Wine magazine.

If you’re unfamiliar with Filipino cuisine, the dishes are a kind of noodles and beef, two delicious things that you can’t go wrong with.

What’s more is that the restaurant is set to open this winter. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that this means before 2023.

For now, the restaurant’s address and menu details have not been announced but we’ll be back to update you with the details as they come. Until then we’ll be waiting as patiently as we can.
