This global tech company is expanding its Toronto office & it is hiring

After opening its Canadian headquarters in Toronto last year, global tech company Snowflake has shared its plans to grow its engineering hub in the city, which means more jobs are opening.

According to Snowflake, the Data Cloud company, it is planning to double its team by the end of 2024, with job openings beginning in January, and longer term plans to hire hundreds over the next several years.

The company shared with Curiocity that it plan to build two new teams “including Native Apps UI and Sharing Foundations.”

“Snowflake Canada is at the forefront of the generative AI revolution, helping organizations disrupt multiple industries such as airlines, healthcare, and more with data,” said Snowflake Canada’s Qaiser Habib, Toronto Site Lead and Director of Engineering.

“The Toronto Engineering Hub is powering the development of the Snowflake Native App Framework and the transformation of how companies globally are building applications. We’ve built technology that solves your AI needs in one go. Much like iOS or Android apps for mobile devices, Snowflake Canada is driving a net-new application type. Candidates will get to work on these cutting edge innovations and work with a passionate team that values collaboration and a top notch culture.”

Senior Software Engineer – Provider Platform, Native Applications
Senior Product Manager – Developer Experiences
UI Architect
Principal Software Engineer – Sharing and Marketplace Foundation
Engineering Manager in Native App Foundations
Senior Software Engineer- Native Application Foundations
Senior Software Engineer- Developer Experience, Native Applications
