Stat Holidays in Ontario:

  • Monday, January 1st: New Year’s Day
  • Monday, February 19th: Family Day
  • Friday, March 29th: Good Friday 
  • Monday, May 20th: Victoria Day
  • Monday, July 1st: Canada Day
  • Monday, September 2nd: Labour Day
  • Monday, October 24th: Thanksgiving Day
  • Wednesday, December 25th: Christmas Day 
  • Thursday, December 26th: Boxing Day

Other holidays such as Easter Monday (April 1st), Civic Holiday (August 5), and Remembrance Day (November 11), National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (September 30) are not recognized as statutory holidays in Ontario but select stores, services and restaurants still may be affected.
