If you’re captivated by the scenic landscape upon arriving to Six Mile Lake Provincial Park, you wouldn’t be surprised to know that the area is often used as inspiration for painters!

The three beaches at Six Mile are all located near park areas meaning they’re within walking distance to washrooms and campgrounds.

The sandy shorelines make for a great place to spend a day sunbathing or swimming, but be sure to note there are no lifeguards on duty.

Good news for those with pets, Six Mile Lake has a designated Pet Beach! Be sure to check signage as only one of the three beaches is designated.

The calm waters are utilized for water activities such as paddle boarding and canoeing with canoes available to rent at the park store as long as the weather is okay.

If long hikes aren’t your thing then you’re in the right place.

The trails at Six Mile are all under one KM in length, with the Living Edge Trail boasting views of the signature rolling rocks of the Canadian Shield.

You can grab a day pass/vehicle pass here.

Six Mile Lake Provincial Park, we’re coming for ya!
