A Shrek-themed rave is coming to Toronto and it’s all ogre the place

If you’ve ever wanted to party like an ogre until the swamp sun comes up, your fairy tale is about to come true. Toronto is getting a Shrek rave this July, and here’s what to know.

Shrek Rave is heading across Canada this summer, and it’s making a chaotic, green stop in Toronto on July 19.

It’s all happening at the legendary Lee’s Palace. Doors will open at 10 p.m., and tickets cost $20. Sounds like a small price to pay for a night of Shrek-fuelled mayhem.

This ain’t your average enchanted forest gathering. Expect a night full of bangers and swampy vibes. We wouldn’t blame you if you decided to dress up as your favourite character, whether it’s Donkey, Fiona, Lord Farquaad, or the big green guy himself.

As the organizers say, this is your chance to “get unhinged.” The rave will also stop in Oshawa on July 25, as well as in Kitchener and Ottawa on July 26.

So, dust off those ears, scream “GET OUTTA MY SWAMP!” at strangers (with love, of course), and prepare to dance like nobody’s watching because at a Shrek Rave, anything goes.

Just remember: better out than in, we always say.
