A self-serve wine bar is now a thing in Ontario. Yep, you read that right. This new wine bar and bottle shop offers wine lovers one of the best drinking experiences in the GTA – and probably all of Ontario.
We do love our wine tours and vineyards but Wine On Main has changed the game when it comes to nights out. If you’re willing to make the trip just to try this cool gadget out, make your way to Newmarket and grab a glass or two of some fine red… or white, or sparkling – your pick!
“Our self-service wine dispensers allow guests to explore our ever-changing selection of wines in a relaxed and informal setting. Guests can sample a tasting before committing to a full glass or bottle,” shares the official website.

Fans of the alcoholic beverage may be pleased to know that they’ll be tasting exclusive wines that are now “readily available at the local LCBO,” but rather chosen by their sommelier.
“Our unique wines will be from top quality vineyards from all over the world, with a special focus on people, place, and planet, including sustainable, organic, biodynamic, and natural wines. We carry Premier Grand Cru to orange wine and everything in between.”
But what’s wine without some stellar food pairings? Snack on some top-notch cheese selections, charcuterie, and vegan boards. Additional pop-ups and food vendors will also be available.
Discover your new favourite wine or sample something new – the great thing about this is that you don’t need to commit to a full glass of wine in case you don’t like it. But if you do, pour up!
And if you simply can’t get enough or are just blown away by the selection, the Bottle Shop allows guests to purchase their favourite wine.
There are also non-alcoholic wine and other non-alcoholic elixirs available for purchase. We don’t blame you if this sounds like fun, because it sounds like a blast but before you make a trip, check out their store hours online.
During the holidays, they will be open from 11:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. but will be closed from December 24th to 27th.
