We know that we’ve been talking a lot about fall recently but there are still about 10 days of summer. That being said, this summer has been a hot one and also a record-breaking one. In fact, Seattle has broken the record for most 90-degree days in a year.
If you were in town all summer that might not sound super surprising. And at the same time, it also might have not felt like it if you dealt with some of the heatwaves in years past. But according to the National Weather Service, there have been 13 days this year with temperatures at or above 90 degrees.

In July alone there were 7 days at 90 degrees or above. So if you were feeling toasty you weren’t imagining it! According to KING 5 News, the previous record was 12 days in 2015 so who knows, we could beat it by perhaps even another day. Although with fall just a week away, we’ll keep our fingers crossed for cooler temperatures.
