Seattle just hit another top 10 list and it’s for something that you probably wouldn’t expect. That something is 2020’s Best Cities for Christmas study from WalletHub. So here’s yet one more thing that we can give our city a round of applause for.
WalletHub took a look at the 100 biggest US cities and based their ranking on 15 indicators of a safe and affordable Christmas. The indicators ranged from things like active COVID-19 cases to the availability of Christmas traditions and the city’s overall generosity. So it looks like Seattle is doing okay.

The one thing that we absolutely shot out of the water on is generosity. And we have to say that’s pretty surprising because Seattleites aren’t exactly the friendliest people (sometimes). But kudos to us for apparently being generous? That being said, we can definitely work on the other areas.
So if you’re wondering, the top 9 cities were Durham, San Jose, Honolulu, Oakland, Raleigh, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Portland, Plano, and finally Seattle at number 10. And if you’d like to see the full study and all the criteria you can click here.
