WalletHub looked at the 100 biggest US cities based on 32 key indicators of a festive and affordable Christmas. Some of those indicators included traditions, shopping, and cost.

Apparently, coastal Christmas beats out the old-world charm of New England this year. Seattle ranked highly for its generosity (#1), traditions & fun (#9), and shopping (#17). We also came in 5th place for online giving per capita which only makes sense considering our city is the birthplace of Amazon. All in all, we had a score of 61.38 which isn’t too shabby.
Merry Christmas Seattle, remember you can keep the giving spirit year-round.
