An antiquarian book fair is coming to Seattle with dealers from across the country

The Pacific Northwest’s biggest book event returns to Seattle Center this October. That event is The Seattle Antiquarian Book Fair, your one stop destination for all things antique and rare books. This year’s event has dealers from across the globe and here’s what you can expect.

The Seattle Antiquarian Book Fair has dealers from the US and United Kingdom this year. Visitors will find thousands of “collectible books, prints, maps, autographs, photographs, posters, postcards, ephemera, manuscripts, broadsides, fine bindings” and more for sale.

Not only is it a chance to add some truly spectacular and rare books to your collection but it’s also a chance to meet specialists from all over the world. Beyond shopping you can browse cultural and historical artifacts with some notable books on display.

Some of this year’s display items include a series of books inscribed from German philosopher Theodor W. Adorno to German short story writer Marie Luise Kaschnitz.

There’s also a copy of Jack B. Yeats: An Appreciation and an Interpretation signed with an original drawing by Yeats.

While both of these books are on the higher end of sales prices there are books for buyers of all price ranges. If you’d like to attend there is a $10 admission charge per day.

Happy reading!
