You can stay at this private rustic cabin on a BC island for less than $100 a night

While most unique stays on Airbnb cost a small fortune to stay at, we found the perfect rustic cabin to satisfy those seeking a getaway from the city – and it won’t break your bank account! It costs as little as $66 a night to stay at this cozy slice of heaven.

Honestly, we think the photos speak for themselves – but if ‘adorable’ was a place, we’re pretty sure it’d be here!

Blanketed with lush forests, Galiano Island is the perfect destination for nature lovers seeking a more remote experience. There are tons of beach access points with great swimming holes and breathtaking island views.

The Galiano Island cabin is the perfect spot to unwind with a couple of friends or your partner for the weekend and explore the area. Guests have access to an outdoor shower, loft bed, fire pit, covered porch, and a bunch of winding pebble beach trails.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with a propane oven, stove-top coffee maker, and a bar fridge.

The experience

Whether you want to do some kayaking, biking, hiking, or a combination of the three – this spot is a perfect home base to return to after a full day of summer adventures. Be sure to check out some cool caves in Retreat Cove, a mere 20-minute walk away from the cabin!

Or, if you prefer to cozy up indoors – you can enjoy the stunning views from floor-to-ceiling windows and a skylight. Curl up on the sofa with a book and listen to the sounds of crickets and birds just outside your window.

We should note that there is no wifi or cell reception at the cabin, so come prepared to completely unplug for your stay! Fully immerse yourself in the beautiful treetops and live out your ideal forest fairytale.

If you’re looking for more unique stays to check out this summer, there’s also an oceanfront yurt on Salt Spring Island that is definitely worth checking out!

Enjoy your summer getaway, Vancouver!
