A pop up roller rink is opening in Calgary for one night only this month

There was nothing quite like hitting Llyod’s Roller Rink in Calgary when we still had the chance. Luckily, if you’re among the many that could benefit from kicking it back to the ‘good old days,’ a pop-up inspired by the iconic spot will glide into the city this month!

Next weekend, Saturday, March 19th, lace-up and jive under bright lights and a glaring disco ball to the music of DJ Creole in a 15,000 square foot location, similar to the one we knew and loved.

With two skating sessions, one meant for families and the other for adults, this colourful night is sure to put a skip back into your steps, despite everything going on in the world right now.

This organization is committed to bringing back the sport – and is expected to hold another event on April 23rd.
