With the Blue Jays home opener fast approaching, the Rogers Centre is gearing up for the grand opening of its new-and-improved ballpark and it’s clear that the extensive renovation will be a game-changer for fans.

On April 11th, the stadium will unveil the Outfield District, where live entertainment will be held on every game day.

Outfield District will be home to several exciting food and drink concepts, including the Corona Rooftop Patio, Park Social, The Catch Bar, and The Stop.

Fans will have the opportunity to watch the game live from Outfield District by purchasing a $20 general admission ticket, which is new to the stadium this season.

Spectators will also get to experience the new Rogers Centre food menu, and it has a lot more than your classic peanuts and Cracker Jacks!

Aramark Sports + Entertainment, who is the hospitality provider for several ballparks including the Rogers Centre, announced the new culinary creations that fans can look forward to.

Among the highlights is the new Banh Mi Chicken Sandwich, which is made with Halal ginger chicken, kimchi mayo, cucumber, pickled carrot, and cilantro on a baguette. Fans can try it at The Stop, located at centre field on the 100 level.

Also coming to the stadium is the Poutine Hot Dog at Schnieder’s Porch, and it’s exactly what it sounds like — a hot dog topped with poutine!

Rogers Centre will also debut the Peanut Butter & Jelly Churro and Jerk Chicken Nachos.

Those are far from the only new concessions that fans can expect. Other bites to try include Cuban sandwiches, mac and cheese sandwiches, bacon-pepper grilled cheese, milkshakes, and the peameal bacon sandwich with a modern twist.

It’s going to be an exciting and delicious season at the Rogers Centre this year, and we can’t wait!
