Seafood lovers are in for a real treat this week. Glowbal’s newest concept kitchen, Riley’s Fish & Steak, is now open in Vancouver’s waterfront. If you’re walking around Burrard Street, be sure to stop in for a delicious cocktail and bite to eat.
There are a ton of new restaurants opening their doors in Vancouver this month, and we’re super stoked to check out Riley’s. Leading the culinary team is Executive Chef Jerome Soubeyrand, who formerly led the teams at Coast and Black + Blue (among many others across Europe).
He and his talented team will serve the main dining hall, which seats a whopping 240 people, as well as a 100-seat garden patio.
Oyster bar and shucking station? Check. Seafood tower with King crab, tiger prawns, Atlantic lobster, and more? Double-check. Pair your delicious meal with a selection of their old and new world wines, or opt for a local craft beer.
The team at Riley’s is committed to bringing the best of the Pacific Northwest to your plate, sourcing all of their ingredients locally and cooking up all the steakhouse classics you know and love. All the meat cuts are Canadian and USDA prime, charred to perfection and complemented with a range of gourmet sides.
The chophouse is located on Burrard Street at the Waterfront Building in the spot that was previously occupied by Rogue Kitchen + Wetbar.
As for the interior, the space oozes modern comfort. Expect custom wood installations, elegant leather booths, and plants hanging in every archway, corner, and ceiling space.
Stop by to celebrate and stay tuned via their Instagram for further updates on future happy hour and weekend brunch menus.
