Quebec’s highlights included a series of Indigenous led experiences ranging from a Mohawk run brewery to polar bear watching expeditions.

The article mentions Nunavik, which is Quebec’s northernmost region and land of the Inuit. It’s an area which has been off of most people’s radars however in 2024, Ungava Polar Eco-Tours will offer adventures to the uninhabited Gyrfalcon Islands of Ungava Bay.

The islands are a magical destination to watch wildlife like polar bears, musk ox, caribou and also to see some of the high tidal elevations on the planet.

Distant adventures may not be for everyone and that’s okay because you can head to historic Quebec City to experience the Hôtel-Musée Premières Nations which opened 24 new and renovated suites.

If you don’t want to travel at all, you can stay right here in Montreal and enjoy the Contemporary Native Art Biennial, which will be held across the city throughout 2024.

Enjoy your travels!
