Attention, world travellers! Australia’s largest domestic and international airline, Qantas, is having a huge sale to end the year, with great fares on flights from Vancouver, Canada to select cities in Australia.
According to the national carrier, many travellers list Australia among their top “bucket list” trips but say the extended flight time is a barrier to booking their trip.
Starting this week on Tuesday, Dec. 3, travellers from Vancouver can find discounted fares across all cabins for varying travel periods in 2024 and 2025.
“North America is one of our most important international markets, and we’re excited to offer special savings on our nonstop and one-stop flights to Australia and New Zealand for the Travel Tuesday shopping holiday,” says Oronzo Miccoli, Qantas Senior Executive Vice President of the Americas.
Discounted nonstop flights from Vancouver to Sydney will start at $1,499 roundtrip in Economy.
The airline operates three round-trip flights per week year-round between the two cities, with flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
Discounted round-trip fares go up to $3,199 for Premium Economy and $6,299 for Business Class, respectively.
The sale will launch on Travel Tuesday and run through Sunday, Dec. 9, applying to select travel dates. The sale will officially end at 11:59 p.m. PST, or until supply runs out.
So there you have it, Canada! If you’re hoping to book a trip “Down Under” next year, it’s definitely worth checking out this massive sale.
Happy adventures!
When: Tuesday, Dec. 3 to Sunday, Dec. 9
