Here are all the best pumpkin patches in and around Edmonton this fall

It’s officially fall, which means it’s officially the season for pumpkins, harvest, and everything Halloween.

Before winter arrives and the snow begins to fall, we know you’re looking to make the most of the weather. Good news, there are more than enough pumpkin patches in and around Edmonton to scratch that outdoor fall itch. Whether you’re looking for a patch in the city or to make a fall day trip nearby, we’ve got you covered for the best pumpkin patches around.

Without further ado, let’s get into the best pumpkin patches in and around Edmonton to visit this season!

Edmonton Corn Maze

The Edmonton Corn Maze is more than just a corn maze. It serves as a summer and fall utopia for all things outdoors, featuring farm animals, sunflowers, mini golf, and more.

Most importantly, it has a pumpkin patch, filled to the brim with a vibrant harvest. They feature a pumpkin u-pick with locally sourced pumpkins and some pumpkins from their neighbours at Somerset Farm, all of which are priced at market rates. Admission to this pumpkin patch is included in general admission; however, pumpkins are available for purchase without tickets as well.

Open every day except Monday, this spot is an Edmonton staple for the fall. The pumpkin season starts mid-September and lasts through October, so don’t miss out!

Where: 51529 Range Rd. 262, Spruce Grove, Alta.

Prairie Gardens

From now until Oct. 31, Prairie Gardens is holding its Fall-o-Ween Festival!

For $26 (for those ages 13 and above), you can get access to an extensive list of activities, including but not limited to its half-acre pumpkin patch, sunflower maze, pumpkin houses, train rides, and much more. Each general admission ticket also includes a $5 voucher for activities like gem mining, pumpkin painting, or any sweet treats or gifts!

Where: 56311 Lily Lake Rd., Bon Accord, Alta.

Kraay Family Farm

Pumpkin days are huge at the Kraay Family Farm.

At this massive pumpkin patch, the family grows some stunning pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Pumpkins are available for sale all around the farm, and don’t forget all the opportunities for photos! With the pumpkin patch, old trucks, and much more, it’s the perfect place for your next Instagram post or family photo.

Where: Site 6 Box 9 Range Rd. 1, Lacombe, Alta.
