Swifties, get ready for a week of festivities and celebration in honour of Taylor Swift’s upcoming 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. But where can you partake in the themed activities? It’s all happening in Kingston, Ont., and here’s what to know.
From Sept. 26 to Oct. 3, local businesses are banding together to create a week-long celebration that pays tribute to every era of the superstar’s career.
We’re talking themed cocktails, delicious treats, live music, and creative workshops are just the beginning. Fans can sip on Lavender Hazecocktails, cool off with some Squash It Off gelato, or belt out their fave tracks at karaoke nights.
Feeling a little crafty? There will also be Taylor-inspired workshops that will give attendees the chance to design keepsakes that channel the spirit of her albums.
Here’s a breakdown of what to expect:
All the festivities are marked to end on Oct. 3, the same day Cineplex locations in Canada will air the 90-minute show featuring the world premiere of the music video for “The Fate of Ophelia,” BTS footage from the shoot, brand-new lyric videos, and Taylor’s personal reflections on her latest album.
Whether you’re a long-time fan or a casual listener, you’re going to love what Kingston has to offer.
