Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s trip to BC rolls on as the couple has spent the last few days joining the athletes at training camp for the next rendition of Harry’s Invictus Games.

While the two have been watching from the sidelines all week, the Duke of Sussex is now getting in on the action!

Prince Harry created the Invictus Games in 2014, a multi-sport event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, both serving and veterans.

The 2025 games will be held in Vancouver and Whistler, with training camp currently underway at Whistler Blackcomb Resort.

Harry and Meghan have made appearances at the training camp all week including Valentine’s Day, snapping photos with athletes.

Harry took things to the next level on Thursday though, when the Invictus Games posted a video to social media showing the Duke of Sussex participating in skeleton.

Along with the video the Invictus Games wrote, “Skeleton at the Whistler Sliding Centre is going to be epic at the #InvictusGames Vancouver Whistler 2025 Today, our Patron, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex alongside participants from the One Year To Go Winter Training camp got to experience how exhilarating skeleton can be.” 

Harry and Megan were also seen showing their support and gratitude for the First Nations.

According to another Invictus Games social media post, “The two visited the Mount Currie Community Centre on the traditional territory of the Lil’wat Nation. The couple were invited by Chief Dean Nelson and Chief Gélpcal of the Lil’wat Nation to meet their community and learn about their wheelchair basketball program.”

The post also shared that The Duke played a short game on a team against Scott Moore, CEO of Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.

“Upon their arrival, The Duke and Duchess received a traditional welcome and were presented symbolic gifts for their children,” wrote the Invictus Games.

“The couple were humbled to be invited, and extend their deepest gratitude to Chief Nelson, Chief Gélpcal and the people of the Lil’wat Nation for their generous hospitality and kindness.”

The Invictus Games 2025 are set for February 8th – 16th, 2025.
