Known for its fashion-forward and sustainably-made footwear, Poppy Barley is a star on the rise when it comes to luxury brands in Canada. After years of hosting pop-up shops, the Alberta-born brand is finally opening its first-ever brick-and-mortar location in Vancouver. The best part? Shoppers won’t have to wait long at all to check it out!
As a certified B Corporation, the brand is committed to crafting ethically-produced footwear at the family-owned factories they’ve partnered with. Their mission? Creating luxury for “people and the planet.”
This translates to fairly-priced products that are made to last – and quality with every step.
Although newcomers to shoemaking, sisters Justine and Kendall Barber launched Poppy Barley in 2012 to create reliable, everyday designs that compliment your wardrobe without compromising on the health of the planet.
“We wanted to design boots, shoes and accessories for people like us—for people like you,” their website reads. “People who care about comfort and style, but absolutely refuse to compromise their values of caring for the planet and people.”
