While Fright Nights has been cancelled, fans of all things scary still have a lot to look forward to at Playland this Halloween season. The Vancouver attraction has announced ‘Hallowed Eves’, a series of after-dark experiences you won’t want to miss. Let’s check it out!

Rather than the usual haunted houses, the Hallowed Eves will be full of open-air experiences. Think tons of creepy decor, roaming characters, and best of all, live performances. That’s right- you can witness everything from firebreathers to circus acts and contortionists. One thing’s for sure, your eyes will be popping no matter where they look.

Meanwhile, most of Playland’s most thrilling rides will be open as well. The wooden coaster is sadly closed for renovations, but more state-of-the-art options like The Beast and AtmosFear are all good to go. After all, what’s a Halloween visit to Playland without a few screams?

Between the live entertainment, the rides, and the Halloween-themed treats to eat, this is an easy option for any spooky enthusiast in Vancouver. The experience opens on October 8th, so mark your calendars!
