Calgary just got a robot-operated ‘pizzeria’ & it’s open 24/7

The future is friendly and tastes like pepperoni! Calgary has just launched its first PizzaForno, Canada’s only automated pizza chain and it’s open 24/7, 365.

Described as an automated pizzeria with 60 units across North America, this cheesy vending machine will be open no matter the time of day or year and has a little something for everyone.

With a capacity of 70 12-inch pizzas, PizzaForno is located at the University of Calgary and is super easy to use!

All you have to do is show up, place your order, and watch as a robotic arm springs into action, retrieving your chosen pizza from the refrigerated section.

The pizza is then transported into a patented convection oven, and /will be delivered through a slot at the front of the machine.

If, of course, you’re feeling creative or prefer to have a pizza party at home, PizzaForno also offers a take-and-bake option, allowing you to customize your pizza to your heart’s desire before taking it home to bake to perfection.
