There are still plenty of sunny days left in the year to enjoy some prime picnics, and if you’re looking to skip the food prep and last-minute grocery runs, even better. There are a handful of restaurants and businesses in Vancouver that offer ready-to-eat picnic boxes, and we’re here to share them with you.
From mouthwatering charcuterie and bubbly to fried chicken boxes, there’s a picnic kit out there for every occasion. And once you narrow down what you want to eat and drink, all that’s left to do is to pick a spot and enjoy!
Without further ado, here are 6 places to get pre-made picnic boxes in Vancouver.
Tawnshi

We’re starting off with one of the best spots for hand-crafted charcuterie around, and a great pick for group picnics. Tawnshi’s Indigenous-inspired boards and boxes offer a beautiful Charcuterie Board ($190) and an equally stunning Gluten-Free Charcuterie Board ($195), both of which have sizing options and can be made pescatarian or vegetarian. The standard “small” size can feed five to eight people, though!
A smaller Charcuterie Gift Box can be purchased for $55, and baked bannock and cookies are available for $26 per box.

Another top spot for hand-crafted goodies, Charcuterie Vancouver has made the art of charcuterie boards its focus, with plenty of delicious platters and boards to choose from. For the solo picnicker, there’s the perfectly portioned Individual & Snack board for $25, and smaller groups can take their pick between the Small Box for two ($70), the Medium Box for three to four people ($105), and the Large Box for four to six people ($150).
They also make special occasion boxes, various party platters for larger groups, and a new Eye Candy Board.
