Vancouver is getting a patio paella series & here’s when you can get tickets

If you’re looking for a delicious food & drink event to check out this spring, look no further than the return of Vancouver’s Patio Paella Series with the Paella Guys, hosted by ¿CóMO? Taperia. The duo is gearing up for a tasty spring and summer filled with fresh paella, patio sips, tapas, and conservas. So if that sounds like your jam, read on!

Last year, Chef Javier Blanc earned fourth place in the coveted World Paella Day Cup competition in Spain. And this year? The legendary chef and his team are back to present Vancouver residents with some of the most flavourful, authentic paella around.

“Chef Javier makes some of the best paella in the world, and we are so lucky to work with their team again for what’s likely going to be another great summer series,” says Shaun Layton, co-owner of ¿CóMO? Taperia. “The paella takes about an hour to prepare and during that time, guests can order from our full tapas and drinks menu, making a full afternoon event out of it.”

The beloved series will officially return with seven events this May, beginning over the long weekend on May 21st and ending on August 27th. Tickets are priced at $28 per person, plus tax and gratuity, and go on sale online on Tuesday, May 9th.

Each ticket includes an individual-sized plate of paella, and can be purchased in groups of two to four people. Note that guests can choose from three seating times: One at noon, 2 pm, and 4 pm.

So if you’re ready for an outdoor cookout-meets-Spanish-feast, you won’t have long to wait. The sun isn’t going anywhere, and the long weekend is just around the corner!

Mark your calendars and prepare to snag some tickets, Vancouver.
