This Friday is Remembrance Day and though many of us will be working and services running, there may be some that are not. Here’s what’s open and closed on Remembrance Day in Toronto.
In Ontario, Remembrance Day is not considered a statutory holiday therefore our regular day-to-day services and jobs will not be impacted. In other provinces like B.C., and Alberta, they give their residents a day off.
Despite whether or not you have the say off, many businesses in Toronto may observe a moment of silence right at 11:11 AM.
If you’d like to do more and honour our fallen on Friday, there several Remembrance Day events you can attend in Toronto this year.
