These Ontario restaurants have been ranked the best in Canada for fine dining

Toronto isn’t the only city in this province with a thriving restaurant scene. Two restaurants have been ranked the best for fine dining in Ontario in TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice ranking for 2022.

These 10 high-end dining destinations were given stellar scores by TripAdvisor users this year, landing them in this year’s guide of Canada’s “best of the best” fine dining restaurants.

And you might be surprised to discover that the only two Ontario restaurants to earn a spot on the list are nowhere near Toronto.

AG Inspired Cuisine in Niagara Falls landed in second place on the ranking. This acclaimed spot overlooking the falls serves seasonally inspired Canadian cuisine and is consistently rated the best in the region.

Landing in third place is Tiara Restaurant at Queen’s Landing Hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake, which earned its high spot on the ranking for its delicious food, exceptional service, and inviting atmosphere.

 Although Toronto was the first city in Canada to get its own Michelin Guide, the customers have spoken and it looks like the Niagara region is the place to be for a fancy dinner date.
