Just yesterday we learned about one of Washington’s first in-person events to return to the city after months of cancelations and digital events. And just a day later, we’re getting news of our second one! It looks like Emerald City Comic Con will be returning to Seattle this winter.

Normally Emerald City Comic Con takes place during the spring but it has been rescheduled due to the pandemic. And this pop-culture fest happens to be one of the nation’s largest, so its return is actually a pretty big deal. So get ready to see Seattleites go all out in their favorite cosplays as they fill downtown for this fun festival.

The Comic-Con will be taking place December 2nd-5th at the Washington State Convention Center. And while details are slim, we’re assuming that it will be pretty similar to past year’s events. That means celebrities, guest speakers, and a whole bunch of Washingtonians rocking their best cosplay. All of this is sure to happen with some extra safety precautions, of course. For the time being, vendors and headliners have not been announced but we’re sure those will be coming soon.

We’re happy to announce that there is yet another in-person event that you can look forward to this winter. And this return is yet another reason to get vaccinated to ensure that we can all look forward to great events this year. If you’d like to learn more you can click here.
