So far 2021 has been full of event rescheduling or virtual celebrations. But in a big change for the City of Seattle, one of the city’s best festivals is coming back, in person this fall. That’s right folks, Seattle Pride will have an in-person LGBTQIA+ event this October.

Earlier this year you probably remember that Seattle Pride announced it would be going digital this year. And that’s still true but now you can also look forward to a small-scale Pride event in October. Details on the event are limited but we do know a few things. Firstly, it will include a self-guided tour of Capitol Hill’s favorite LGBTQIA+ owned businesses among other events. And secondly that it will be held on October 9th & 10th.

We’re super excited to hear about the return of an in-person event. Because let’s face it, virtual celebrations just aren’t exactly the same. That being said, we will still be checking out virtual Seattle Pride and you should too if that’s your thing. We can’t wait to learn more details about both events.

If you’d like to learn more about Seattle Pride and their in-person event you can click here. We hope that this return is the first of many and we can’t wait to see you all out there safely this summer. And hey we might as well say it, if you haven’t gotten vaccinated yet, get out there and get it done. It will make celebrating a lot more fun and a whole lot safer.
