Scream, BOOgie and skate at this spooktacular Halloween party in Calgary next week

Spooky month is upon us and this year there is plenty to see and do around town – but haunted houses aren’t for everyone. If you prefer somewhere you can really ‘chill’ this Halloween, consider checking out Olympic Oval!

This October, toss on a pair of skates, a costume and enjoy the 3rd annual Oval After Dark, an event where guests will have access to ‘the scariest Ice in the world.’

Described as ‘dark’ with horrific music, guests will first be encouraged to enter the oval ‘catacombs,’ a mysterious place that will give you creeps… and some exercise.

Throughout the night prepare to scream and come into contact with some unusual guests.

“A scare or two might be awaiting you,” they write. “Dress in your terrifying best and be chilled to your bones as you skate with Calgary’s ghosts, ghouls, monsters and haunted at heart.”
