Olympia Coffee is almost ready to open its doors to its newest cafe.

Olympia Coffee Roasting Co. will soon be open at 1420 5th Ave, Suite 103, making it the company’s seventh cafe and its first venture into downtown Seattle.

The cafe’s soft opening will kick off on August 18, at 7 am to 2 pm. Following that, and starting August 19, you will find the new coffee shop open from 6 AM to 2 PM from Monday to Friday, and 7 AM to 6 PM on weekends.

“Conveniently located near the Washington State Convention Center, our newest cafe is also mere blocks away from Pike Place Market and the historic 5th Avenue Theater,” according to the cafe on social media, and it adds “this new location features ample seating in an open-air hall that offers a vibrant, public community and retail space.”

The Olympia Coffee’s Cedar Hall location will feature two service windows: one within Cedar Hall, which will also provide access to over 100 seats and various intimate spaces for meetings and conversation, and a second window on the 5th Avenue sidewalk, which is a throwback to Seattle’s espresso culture from the 80s and 90s.

As for the menu, the new coffee spot will have a full espresso menu and a curated tasting menu, including popular drinks like “the One and Fun” and seasonal specials such as the Haupia Latte, they state.

You will also find food items provided by Moonrise Bakery, featuring award-winning chef Michele Pompei’s pastries like Kouign Amann and Red Velvet Croissants, alongside savory options from Sunrise Tacos.
