Toronto’s beloved Bavarian bash is back this October! Get ready to enjoy a truly authentic Oktoberfest experience through food, drinks, music, and dance for two full days. Tickets are on sale and here’s what to know.
Back for its 11th anniversary, Oktoberfest kicks off on October 6th and ends on the 7th with a weekend full of authentic German and European beer, non-stop entertainment, authentic Oktoberfest eats, and an undeniably fun experience.
The fall festival will transform Garrison Common into a Bavarian Village, featuring communal tables and benches direct from Germany.
The fun will also take place inside a massive Festhalle tent, and the first 500 people who attend the event will get a free Ferman glass beer stein.
Get ready to eat all the Bavarian treats and sips of all kinds.

Attendees are encouraged to wear something traditional and if you arrive early enough, you can buy an outfit at the festival while quantities last.
There are a few ground rules you should know before you go, according to Oktoberfest’s website.
The rules are to “introduce yourself to strangers,” “compliment your tablemates and take care of your friends (old and new),” and most importantly “eat, drink, sing, mingle, dance and attempt to speak German.”
Last year’s event saw a ton of entertainment too, including the popular Fräulein E cabaret show, traditional Bavarian dancers, and competitions. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2023.
