If you love a good view and aren’t afraid of heights, BC is probably one of the most scenic places to go on a hot air balloon ride. This spring, you can take to the skies with Okanagan Ballooning and experience la creme de la creme of the Okanagan Valley. From sweeping views of the lakes and vineyards in Kelowna to the country farms of Armstrong, there will be plenty of unparalleled photo-ops on your journey.
The good news is that flights are year-round, so even if you’re not able to make it out this spring, you can still get in on the fun this summer if you play your cards right.

Okanagan Ballooning is family-owned and operated, and has been flying out of the Okanagan Valley for almost 20 years. They currently operate a 6-passenger balloon named Aurora, which can be in the sky anywhere between 45 minutes to 3 hours per ride, depending on the weather.
Pilot John Klempner has been a keen “ballooner” (a term we just coined) since 1994, acquiring his Transport Canada Pilot’s License in 1997.
