Reminder: You can watch Oilers playoffs games in Rogers Place for just $5

If you’re looking for watch parties for the first Battle of Alberta games, look no further. We’re here to let you know that Rogers Place will be open for all the away Oilers games this series, and tickets are just $5! Plus, proceeds from tickets are going back to the community. Here’s a quick rundown.

Sponsored by Safeway, the Oilers Road Game Watch Parties will see Rogers Place turned into watch parties. The entire lower bowl (and the upper, if more space is required) of the state of the art arena will be open. Plus, concession stands will be open, so you won’t have to worry about getting snacks (and maybe even a beer or two) while you’re there.

As for the community aspect, all net proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation. It should be noted that tickets guarantee reserved seats (not a free for all), and that the resale of tickets above face value is expressly prohibited.

So, in addition to all the other great places to watch Oilers playoffs games in Edmonton, we’re throwing Rogers Place in the mix! If you haven’t already made plans for tonight, we suggest you check this out!
