The good news we’ve all been waiting for! The highly-anticipated Nobu Hotel and Residences will open in Toronto in 2023, including the celebrity-favourite Nobu restaurant.

Nobu Hospitality has announced that the Toronto property will open in the fall of 2023, along with four other hotels around the world.

It will occupy two sleek 45-storey towers in the heart of the entertainment district.

It will have 658 luxury residential units and 36 hotel suites, as well as a Nobu restaurant on the ground floor.

The restaurant will reportedly open ahead of time, in July of 2023. The hotel and residences will open to the public in November.

“On the site of the historic Pilkington Glass Factory the Nobu Hotel Toronto will be positioned at the top of the west tower and offer guests panoramic views of the Toronto skyline,” said a representative of Nobu Hospitality in an email to Curiocity.

Guests will be greeted by the hotel’s historic façade on Mercer Street and will be immersed in “distinguished luxury” when they walk through the door.

Renderings of the project show spacious suites with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the CN Tower and waterfront.

Nobu is one of the most renowned hospitality brands in the world, founded by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert De Niro in 1994.
