New Toronto restaurants & bars to try this August

August is officially here and we’re starting the month off right with delicious new eats, drinks, and experiences to enjoy. Toronto is now home to several new restaurants and bars and they’re ready to serve you right up with their best menu items.

Whether you’re looking on the more authentic side or looking for your new go-to spot for light bites and drinks, we’ve got a list for you. These new restaurants can’t be missed!

Laylak

Located within Toronto’s Financial District, Laylak Lebanese Cuisine offers what they describe as a “high-end modern twist to traditional Lebanese cuisine.”

Its interior design provides a sophisticated yet relaxed ambiance with bold colours perfect for a photo opp. As for its menu, it features classic mezze plates like hummus, baba ghanoug, and tabbouleh, as well as heartier mains like Frikeh and grilled seafood.

Laylak’s drink menu offers expertly crafted cocktails and an extensive wine list.

Lee Restaurant

One of Toronto’s most beloved eateries, Lee Restaurant has officially opened its newest spot. Their new digs boast a wonderful dining space and a stunning bar, perfect for date night. You can enjoy all the classics like their beloved signature Singapore slaw, once again.

Paradise Grotto

One of Toronto’s newest tropical bars is now open and they have quite a selection of cocktails. You’re transported to the tropics with every sip. And as for the food, whether you’re there to enjoy light bites with friends or a meal with a pal, Paradise Grotto offers delightful options like paradise fries, umami slaw, spam musubi, and bao.

Paris Texas

Toronto’s newest country bar has recently opened its doors and it’s been an absolute hit. Though it does serve as a spot to get your country music fix and dance the night away, you may be pleased to know they also serve up some delicious eats. Saku Tuna Tacos, Lobster Pomme Frites, Beef Dip Sliders, and more.
