Calgary Pride returns: Here’s what you need to know in 2023

It’s nearly that time again! Calgary Pride 2023 is just around the corner and like so many before it, this year will be a celebration, a statement and a golden opportunity to mingle, mix, educate yourselves and show your support for the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

The city’s most vibrant festival, Pride will take place from August 26th to September 4th, 2023 and feature a ton of programming – some of which has yet to be announced.

Luckily, some of your favourites will return – including the annual Pride Festival, a HUGE event that will kick off on Saturday, September 2nd.

Located in Prince’s Island Park, a massive stage will welcome headliners Synthia Kiss, Kendall Gender and the Bratpack, alongside local talent and DJs – but this is just the tip of the iceberg.

During this time, guests can relax in the beer or sober gardens, grab a bite at the food trucks or wander the market – but don’t forget to make way for the parade!

This year’s fierce float show will breathe life into Calgary’s inner city on September 3rd at 11 am and will run from 9th Avenue and 4th Street to Fort Calgary.

Ready to get things started? We’ll keep you updated as more events and information roll in.

It’s going to be an exciting one, Calgary! Mark it down and get ready. There’s nothing quite like it.
