Persephone

Persephone is the newest part of Columbia City’s La Medusa. Its a bar rather than a restaurant and what makes it even more unique is that it also has a retail component. So you can stop by for drinks and light eats and also pick up pantry and locally made items as well as wine.

Where: Next door to La Medusa located at which is located at 4857 Rainier Ave S
Hours: Thursday, Friday & Saturday 5 pm-9 pm

Bake Shop

Bake Shop is an all-day café meaning you’ll find a menu full of options like house-made baked goods, sourdough bread, as well as a small savory menu with toasts, sandwiches, and salads. Additionally, you can sip on coffee, loose leaf teas, beer, and wine. Give them a visit for breakfast, lunch, or before the next show at Climate Pledge Arena.

Hours: Tuesday-Friday 7 am-7 pm, Saturday & Sunday 8 am-7 pm

Señor Carbón

If you’re looking to try Peruvian food you’re in luck. Señor Carbón just opened in Pioneer Square and serves both traditional Peruvian eats and Nikkei cuisine, a Peruvian and Japanese fusion. So far diners have been raving about the dishes so it might be time to head down to Pioneer Square.

Hours: Sunday-Thursday 11 am-9 pm, Friday & Saturday 11 am-10 pm

Jackalope

Like Tex-Mex? Then you have yet another spot to visit in Columbia City. Jackalope comes from the Jacks’s BBQ Family of Restaurants and serves up smoked meats in all sorts of different dishes. You can nosh on tacos, fajitas, enchiladas and more.

Hours: Tuesday-Thursday 11 am-9 pm, Friday & Saturday 11 am-10 pm, Sunday 11 am-8 pm

Little Neon Taco

West Seattleites rejoice, Neon Taco is joining the west’s food scene. The heritage driven taqueria serves up delicious menu items like posole, tortas and of course tacos. It’s well worth making the trek out to West Seattle for.

Hours: Thursday-Saturday 5 pm-9pm
