Ontario’s most popular baby names have been revealed & there are some new additions

Looks like there are a lot of Olivias and Noahs being born in Ontario. The province has released its annual list of the most popular baby names in Ontario and it looks like there are some new favourites.

The list, which gathers the top baby girls and boys’ names around the province in 2020, proves that while some trends come and go, others stick around for a long time.

According to the province’s findings, Olivia has remained the most popular name of all for over a decade — 2020 marks the 11th year in a row that it has claimed the number one spot. Olivia is also not just the most popular baby name in Ontario, but in all of Canada too.
