Over the past few weeks, Calgary has received a steady stream of Summer 2027 concert announcements, including Carly Rae Jepsen, Leon Bridges, Simple Plan, and Greta Van Fleet.
Now, Spruce Meadows has just revealed eight new concerts as part of its Live and Intimate Series next June and July.
The series takes place inside Spruce Meadows’ Equi-Plex, which seats around 2,000 fans per show, making for a much smaller, more intimate concert experience.
Here’s a look at all eight shows and when each act is scheduled to perform.
The Live and Intimate Concert Series kicks off with Brothers Osborne, country duo T.J. and John Osborne. They’re known for songs like “Stay a Little Longer” and “It Ain’t My Fault,” so if you know your country music, you’ve probably heard a track or two from them.
When: Friday, June 11, 2027
Next up is Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, bringing their Americana and rock catalogue to the Equi-Plex on June 12. Isbell is a Grammy-winning songwriter behind tracks like “If We Were Vampires” and “Cover Me Up,” and his music has been featured in shows like Yellowstone.
When: Saturday, June 12, 2027
If you’ve ever heard “Way Down We Go” in a TV show, movie, or Instagram Reel, you probably already know KALEO. The Icelandic band is known for their blues-inspired rock and a powerful sound, and they’re set to play in Calgary on June 18, 2027.
When: Friday, June 18, 2027
The War on Drugs are a Philadelphia rock band known for tracks like “Red Eyes” and “Under the Pressure.” They have released several albums since forming in 2005, including “A Deeper Understanding”, which won the Grammy for Best Rock Album in 2018.
When: Saturday, June 19, 2027
You’ve probably heard Death Cab for Cutie’s music before, especially their 2005 hit “I Will Follow You Into The Dark.” The band has been around since the late ’90s and has released nine studio albums.
When: Friday, July 2, 2027
Shakey Graves is the stage name of Austin musician Alejandro Rode-Garcia, who first gained attention for performing with a kick drum and a tambourine attached to his guitar. He’s since released several albums, including And the War Came, which features his song “Dearly Departed” with Esmé Patterson.
When: Saturday, July 3, 2027
During the Calgary Stampede, the Arkells will bring Canadian Rock to Spruce Meadows in July. The band is best known for hits like “Knocking at the Door” and “You Can Get It,” and over the past few years, they’ve become a familiar name on festival lineups across the country.
When: Friday, July 9, 2027
The final show in the series will feature Canadian alternative rock musician Matthew Good and His Band. This one is strictly for the grown-ups, as the concert is 18+ only. Good is known for songs like “Hello Time Bomb” and “Apparitions.”
When: Sunday, July 10, 2027
Tickets for all eight concerts go on sale Friday, Oct. 16, 2026 at 10 a.m. Mountain Time on the Spruce Meadows website, so if any of the shows caught your eye, get ready to grab your tickets.
