The final season of B.C.-filmed ‘Yellowjackets’ officially drops this November

B.C.’s final round as “the wilderness” in Yellowjackets is coming up, with the show’s fourth and final season dropping next month. It’s official!

Production of season four started in late February of this year, filming across Greater Vancouver and beyond.

Production’s main site is listed as Boundary Studios (2400 Boundary Rd., Burnaby), but as with years past, the series filmed at iconic spots in Surrey, Langley, Coquitlam, New Westminster, Squamish, on Burnaby Mountain, and at Harrison Peak, to name a few spots.

Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, Yellowjackets is the story of a group of teenage girls who survive a plane crash in the remote Canadian wilderness, and how some of them manage to make it back to civilization alive. It’s a bone-chilling saga with plenty of comic relief peppered in, and its third season was the most-watched to date.

The fourth season of the folk horror series was confirmed as its last in 2025, with cast taking to their socials to bid each other a bittersweet goodbye in late July.

Who stars in Yellowjackets?

In case you need a refresher before the fourth season drops, in the adult timeline, the show stars Emmy nominees Melanie Lynskey (adult Shauna), Christina Ricci (adult Misty), and Lauren Ambrose (adult Van), as well as Tawny Cypress (adult Tai) and Simone Kessell (adult Lottie).

In the teenage timeline, Sophie Nélisse (teen Shauna), Jasmin Savoy Brown (teen Tai), Sophie Thatcher (teen Natalie), Samantha Hanratty (teen Misty), Courtney Eaton (teen Lottie), Liv Hewson (teen Van), Steven Krueger (Coach Ben), and Kevin Alves (teen Travis) hold it down.

The show also features Warren Kole as Jeff and Sarah Desjardins as Shauna’s daughter, Callie.

While Elijah Wood (Walter) has had a recurring role and Academy Award-winning actress Hilary Swank (adult Melissa) appeared in the third season as a guest star, we’ll have to see if the two return to our screens for the fourth and final season.

We’re hoping the season four official trailer hits our screens sooner rather than later!

When does season four drop?

Stay tuned for more details as they come, and mark your calendars for Nov. 20, 2026: the official premiere date on Paramount Plus.
