A $1K cocktail & all the extravagant TIFF food and drinks for 2023

TIFF season is here and that means our favourite local restaurants are welcoming all, including celebrities, to enjoy specially curated menus this year. Like always, glitz and glamour are at the forefront as chefs are left to create dining experiences like no other.

Though some restaurants in the city are offering TIFF-inspired food and drinks, there are always a few spots that tend to go above and beyond. We’re talking presentation, flavours, and price.

If you have a couple hundred dollars to spare or you’re curious to know what TIFF offerings reach expensive price points, this list is for you.

Here are the most expensive TIFF offerings available this year:

Now here’s a cocktail you won’t want to waste a drop of. St Regis Toronto has a very special TIFF menu featuring luxurious offerings available September 7th to 17th. Though you can indulge in a two or three-course menu at LOUIX LOUIS, the show stopper is their very expensive cocktail.

The St. Regis is offering a $1,000 specialty cocktail named The Pink Life. This is a Louis Tres (LOUIX XIII) based drink that’s an elegant twist on the classic old-fashioned. It is garnished with rose cucumber cordial foam, gold leaves, and dry rose petals. To top it all off, it is served in a golden frame box with a flower base, and citrus fragrance smoke.

The Pink Life cocktail is inspired by the 2007 box-office hit, La Vie en Rose.
