A holiday pop-up bar is opening in Calgary next month & it sounds magical

Well, jingle our bells! This November, hop in an Uber and ask your driver to crack Mariah Carey because one of Calgary’s favourite holiday-themed pop-up bar, will return to knock your stockings off.

Back for another year of cocktails, fun and festive mugs, Miracle of 1st Street in Calgary will see that Proof cocktail bar is redecorated using tinsel, lights and garland.

Between November 15th and December 24th, those looking to lean into the ‘spirits’ are encouraged to do so as long as they’re respectful and can handle their liquor.

If you’re interested, we’d recommend putting it on your calendar now because they get mighty busy and haven’t taken reservations in the past.

“Miracle on 1st Street is just around the corner (the elves are very busy preparing),” Proof wrote while inviting the public to participate in their cocktail-making contest.

“Submit your idea for a festive feature cocktail and win the chance to develop your drink with the Proof team and have it featured for the full holiday season,” the bar continued.

As for dress code, Christmas fits are welcome and encouraged and so is your biggest smile, so wear your best!
