A festive Santa parade is coming to this historic town centre in Metro Vancouver

Looking for a festive Santa parade to check out now that Vancouver’s has been cancelled for 2023? The 16th annual Surrey Santa Parade of Lights is on this year, bringing a mix of decorated antique cars, trucks, and floats to the historic town centre of Cloverdale.

The Cloverdale BIA has partnered with the BC Vintage Truck Museum along with local organizations and volunteers to bring holiday enthusiasts an exciting trek, complete with vintage vehicles, marching bands, dancers, and more.

The parade will start at 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 3rd. Note that there will be several groups along the parade route selling food and novelties as well, with proceeds going to charity.

Visitors are encouraged to bring food donations for the Cloverdale Community Kitchen, Surrey Food Bank & the Surrey Christmas Bureau.

So there you have it, parade enthusiasts. You’ll be able to meet Santa and enjoy a festive parade in Metro Vancouver after all this year.
