This Top Chef Canada star just opened a new Mexican spot on 17th Ave & here’s what to know

Our city is spoiled for choice when it comes to fantastic restaurants, but this is something extra special! Brought to life by celebrity chef,  Elia Herrera (Top Chef Canada and Top Chef Mexico), Milpa is a new-to-Calgary spot that celebrates tradition and togetherness.

Heavily influenced by the popular phrase “mi casa es tu casa” which means “my home is your home,” Milpa serves Mexican small plates and tasty cocktails inspired by Chef Herrera’s upbringing.
