Somehow it’s already Memorial Day weekend. Not only is it a long weekend but it’s also the last full weekend of May. So you might as well get out there and live it up while you can. Here are 10 of the best things to do this Memorial Day weekend in Seattle.
This year’s festival is back in person! It’s all about celebrating “people’s natural propensity for change.” And while this year’s festival focuses on change, you’ll still have old mainstays like live performances, vendors, food, and more.

For the 2022 season, you will be able to visit Mount Si. The Trailhead Direct buses will originate from “Sound Transit Capitol Hill Link light rail station and service every 30 minutes to Mount Si, Mount Teneriffe, and Little Si. The season will launch on Saturday, May 28th, and run through Sunday, Sept. 11th. ”

The Juan de Fuca Festival is the North Olympic Peninsula’s premier music and arts festival. It’s been happening for 30 years and is yet another great, classic PNW event to help you kick off summer. You can enjoy live music, a street fair, and more.
When: May 27th-29th
Where: Port Angeles, WA
Cost: $30+
Enjoy a salon hosted at the penthouse of the Sorrento. Hear new writing, and music and see art from Julia Sweeney, Lesley Hazleton, Rebecca Brown, John Roderick, Sarah Rudinoff, Charles Mudede, Trisha Ready, and Adam Haws. The theme is, light, think variety show, think summer. Psst, it’s hosted by Christopher Frizzelle.

Seattle Center does still indeed have its laser dome, in fact, you can see live shows once again! So treat yourself this weekend and hear your favorite tunes accompanied by some visuals. Musicians you can hear include Prince, Beyonce, and more.
